I dream Caesar

Calpurnia- Caesar please i have to tell you something, quickly!!

Caesar- Calpurnia, what is it?

Calpurnia- You see, I had a dream, and it was mainly about you.

Caesar- How would the dream be about me?

Calpurnia- Well Caesar, the dream had to do with you getting warned about dangers that are going to come in the future.

Caesar- Tell me more Calpurnia, for I must hear of this dream.

Calpurnia- Caesar it showed you walking to the Senate house because you were getting crowned king. But on the way many strange things happened, that made you feel surprised. You would never believe it.

Caesar- Go on.

Calpurnia- First off, on your way to the senate house, but suddenly the sky's went dark, and in this strange boulder that out of nowhere appeared right in front with the carved word " Danger."

Caesar- Maybe the gods are trying to tell me something. Was there anything else?

Calpurnia- There were two more strange things that happened. One was that there were six knifes all inside of one of the banners of you. I think it is saying that there will be a killing or backstabbing to someone, to you.

Caesar- To me? That would never happen Calpurnia, all of the Romans love me, and want m to be there king.

Calpurnia- The last sign on my dreams was, one of Rome's best doctor was around one body but I couldn't see exactly who it was but it looked like he was pronouncing the man dead.

Caesar- Calpurnia, death will come went it is necessary to die, you cannot runaway from it. But I am also not going to let anyone kill Caesar so I shall alert all of the bodyguards to stay surround me at all times this shall not happen. Thank you Calpurnia.

Weather with Faruk Alagic

It is Faruk Alagic with your nightly news, today you are all going to be in a thrill ride when I announce all of the crazy things going on.

Lets start off with all of the unusual news that have been seen in Rome tonight. Here are the things all of the witness' have experienced.

There was a lion walking across the streets in Downtown terrifying all of the citizens. That's right I am being dead serious, but the weird thing is apparently it is minding it's own business not attacking any of the citizens.

Next we have a witness' spotting of a man walking around the streets of Rome with his hands on fire. But the crazy thing is, it is not burning him even a smidge.

Now this one will give you a burning sensation. A group of women stated that there was a group of men caught on fire walking the streets on Berry ave, and these guys still do not feel anything.

The last thing the witness's have spotted was an owl that is usually up at night is up in the day hooting. All of these events are very frightening, and aren't suppose to happen to Romans.

My conclusion on these events are that the gods are furious at us for something that we have done, and now this is our punishment. But what have we done? I'm not sure why they are mad but obviously if you look outside you can see something is wrong. If you know why they are mad would you please come to the weather building and give us your opinion.

About The Author

The book that I am reading for the silent reading assignment is Catching Fire by: Suzzanne Collins. The author has made a large number of books usually related to adventure like the series of books The Hunger Games, and Catching Fire, also she made a series of books called Gregor The Overlander. She was born in the year 1964, and started her career at 1991 writing children's television shows.

Plot

My book is the sequel to The Hunger Games, and is about a girl named Katiniss Everdeen, she was the winner of The Hunger Games last year but you are only allowed one winner for The Hunger Games but she did not want Petta to die so they ate berries and pretended they were both dead. But all the districts still wanted a winner so they were both crowned the winners. But now the president has forced them to fall in love or look like it. She is forced back into The Hunger Games for the second year with Petta at her side. We will see what they get themselves into this year.

The Setting/Atmosphere

The setting of this book would be in the present or future because of they have all of the modern things like trains, and stores, and homes. The only thing that doesn't seem like it is because of they do not use guns, they use bow and arrows, and knifes it is tricky to find out what the time period is. They are living in these villages surrounded by fences, so no animal or beast will come in, and it is illegal to go out there. But some people still do it because of it is the only way to get meat. It is a very thrilling atmosphere from all of the adventures and situations they get into on the way of winning and fooling president Snow.

Traits of the Protagonist

Katniss Evergreen is the character that I have picked. She demonstrates both leadership, and intelligence. She is a leader because of she knows and tells everybody what to do perfectly and they have nothing to say back of how bad it is. She is very intelligent because of she can hide everything from the president and make it look like nothing is going on, also you need to be smart and a quick thinker to stay in The Hunger Games because you do not know what or who is out there and if anyone is planning on killing you out there.

Book Review

I would give this book a 5/5 because it is a perfect book, I do not read that many books and like them but this book would be one of my most favorite. It is both suspenseful, and adventurous, and I love adventure books. I would recommend this book to anyone that has read either The Lightning Thief because it has sort of the same adventure as it, or The Five Ancestors, because of the adventure and also it is the same because of they are hiding from the head chief and running all around the world following him but also hiding.
